You Watched the Movie Now Read the Book!

Flowers in the Attic premiered this past Saturday on Lifetime and even though my high expectations fell a little short it did give me a enough motivation to want to run out and grab the book.

If you are like me and HAVE to read a book that goes a long with a movie I strongly suggest you start reading!

P.S It has been announced that Lifetime will start production on the second in the series so take advantage of this opportunity and start the second one!

This Week’s Recommendation! – Last Night at the Viper Room by Gavin Edwards

This book is a biography of the late River Phoenix. It discusses his life, his times in Hollywood as he paved the way for future childhood stars, and his shocking death due to an overdose outside Johnny Depp’s club the Viper Room. Whether he was onscreen or having a complex conversation behind the scenes, people knew there was something different about River Phoenix. Something very spiritual and wise beyond his years. He often had people captivated. Whether you were a fan of River Phoenix’s movies or not ( I have to admit I have never seen one of his movies. Which is understandable since I was only 1 when he died.), this book will have you captivated.
